My daughter was diagnosed with sepsis when she was 12 days old . She was admitted in hospital and iv antibiotic started. After 6 days of antibiotic her right knee started swelling. After MRI and x Ray, Dr confirm that she had Septic arthritis.

Emergency surgery was done to drain the pus followed by 28 day iv antibiotic and 39 day oral antibiotic. Now she appears normal. But Dr are saying that only future growth will say that how much or no damage occur. Kindly help me by sharing some experience. What are the chances of complete recovery. Sorry for long post... Really very worried.

Hard to get any answers from docs about MRSA. They gave it to me in the hospital. Acted like everyone has it, can't avoid it. I don't think they know much about it. They tell me it can be gotten rid of, other sources say it stays with you in one form or another. They sent me home after all the IV treatment, did pills at home. Supposedly gone. Swabs come back say it's still there. Told me not to worry, then found out I am now on the "isolation list" .
