Hi I totally understand where you are with this. Please push to get him to see a specialist in vascular/ immunology. You can't leave it to your gp. Where are you in the uk ? I have and am going through this with my daughter,, she is 19 and had hsp since 15. we went to addenbrooke's Cambridge today, but I am not sure they see children. I do know you must push your gp to get him into a specialist. They know exactly what to check,, bloods ect and be more understanding regarding tonsills. Did your son have tonsillitis recently?

We saw a specialist today at Addenbrooke's and they have strongly suggest to take my daughters out as she suffers from tonsillitis. I have / was far to obliging with her gp.

It's only today after I got her referred to a specialist that I have realised this.

she's had hsp persistently for 3months, even the gp monitoring her they have chosen to ignore all the alarm bells with the condition.

Have a nose at dr david jayne....Addenbrooke's. I'm not sure if they see childr, but have to emphasise an amazing team. Please push for great ormond street. I have read they definitely see children with hsp.

I totally understand your I have been sick with worry regarding my daughter.
