My anal fissure doesn't bleed or hurt, but it won't go away

I've been trying to get rid of my fissure for two+ months. I initially realized I had it when I looked up causes of anal itching, and found that to be the cause. I started applying coconut oil and the itching immediately went away, so I got lazy and stopped applying coconut oil even though I should have continued for a bit to be safe. Now I've been applying coconut oil to it several times a day. I've been eating better and drinking more water. Its never bled at all. I've never experienced spasms during or after a BM. It's never hurt to go, except for once very early on when it stung a bit, so I started treating it regularly right away. I've never experienced these very severe symptoms thankfully, but I just want to get rid of it and not have to worry about it, but it won't go away. When I apply coconut oil to it, a long with several dabs of Fissure Control, I can still feel a ridge in there. At this point, I don't know if I'm gonna have to be prescribed blood pressure meds to get the blood flowing, or if I'm just misdiagnosing what the terrain inside feels like when I apply the coconut oil. I have a tight college schedule and have just been trying to treat it and get rid of it with home remedies without having to set up a whole doctors appointment, but it seems to still be there in some capacity. Has anyone had a similar fissure situation?

If you actually did have a fissure, there will be scar tissue where it healed, so that may be what you're feeling. If there's no blood or pain, then the fissure is probably as healed as it's going to be.
