I have never tried any of the meds your on. What worked for me was Lexapro and Immiprimine and I probably spelled that wrong 🤔 but you should ask your Dr about maybe Valium, Klonipin or Xanax to help get you through when things are bad. I know a lot of people think of those kinds of meds as bad news but for people with anxiety and panic attacks they are helpful. I think the trick to using them is to not take them daily (unless going through a rough spell) but only take them as needed.
Any kind of anxiety is tough. You have bad days and you have good ones. While there is no cure or quick fix for anxiety, it can be managed. You just have to find what works for you and it's trial and error. I probably have been on every anxiety med there is but eventually I found what works for me and so will you 😉...
Best wishes

Hi Lisa. You poor thing 😭 I completey get you here. It's irrational and you constantly ask yourself why am I like this?
My anxiety comes when I'm sitting with family happy, after sleeping, for no reason!!! The fear though my body feels is awful.
I am on 40mg of fluoxetine and last year I had a rough time and it slowly got better. All of a sudden, few weeks ago it reared its ugly head again and I'm having daily battles of anxiety, tiredness and panic!
Awful and I know how you feel.
Taking to people on here at your lowest points help! Just someone that understands. Xxx
If it's happening at night, find the trigger or plan your night. Fill it with things you like to do xx

Same here. On Citalopam for 10 years and then it quit working. Upping the dose worked for a while, and then I was right back in the hell hole. I went off cold turkey (don't do that) and had withdraw symptoms along with the anxiety and panic. I have been battling it ever since. Now I am anxious most of the day, but have a few windows of good days, My back, for the first time in my life, is now bothering me. Geez. I want out of this and I know you do too. I think we need to either wean off the meds and start new meds all together or just wean off very, very slowly and see the result. Is it better or worse? Have your vitamin and mineral and thyroid checked too. Those can cause havoc if not in the optimum range.

Hi Lisa, I'm currently on Buspirone. I'm taking 40 mg twice a day. It took a while for it to build up in my system - I think a week or two. The anxiety battle isn't easy and unfortunately part of it is finding a medication that works for you and waiting for it to kick in. I've had to start over on meds at least a half dozen times over the last year. I'm also on Gabapentin, and Lamotrigine. Its a hell of a combo but finally feeling some relief. You'll need to communicate clearly and frequently with your doctor. Also, I tend to have high anxieties in the morning. I have done breathing exercises that seemed to help. I rolled my eyes when I was told to breathe but it can be effective if done properly. I would also encourage you to seek out individual therapy or group therapy. Its been helpful for me.
