My blepharitis is gone!

Hi there I would like to share my success story. Accidental paint mist irritated my eyes and quickly led to blepharitis. Six months of warm compresses, cleaning and eye drops for little (almost none) improvement.
Then,
I tried tea tree oil shampoo which gave immediate improved results. I continued this three times daily for five weeks. Then .5% otc hydrocortisone cream lightly applied to my upper eyelids twice daily for six days (max!) which broke the inflammation cycle and my eyes are now comfortable and confirmed healthy by my optometrist. Hope this can work for somebody else!

Hi Catherine,
Can you tell me more about the mold causing your blepharitis? Our family of 5 (three children ages 16,14, and 10) has blepharitis. We also discovered a high mold spore count and have changed all the ductwork in our house. We have itchy eyes, gunk in corner of eye from time to time and some eyelashes falling out from time to time. A spray with distilled water and colloidal silver has helped, but not gone. I have done the manuka honey regime and that helped but not gone. How do you know yours was first caused by mold? Thanks
