Went for annual check up

my triglycerides and cholesterol are a bit elevated and also GGT is 48 (normal range is 9 - 35) but rest is fine like ALP, ALT, AST, glucose, etc

should i be concerned about high GGT? im not a regular drinker and haven't been drinking for more than half a year.

    hello there,

normally GGT is elevated when u have fatty liver, since ur triglycerides cholesterol are also on higher side so it's all in link to each other. try avoiding oily foods, meat and all such things which are fatty in nature. try to eat fresh fruits and veggies with a bit of exercise.

the values aren't that much elevated to be really concerned abt. very normal n can b brought down by diet n exercise.

    Cheers 😊

Tryglicerides can be raised by sweet food more so than fats, as for GGT I wish mine was any where near that number, I don't drink, not over weight, cholesterol 4.4 and still it's over 200 so I would say don't worry unless you're Dr says too, my liver function is off as well
