He said he tried, but how can he love me when he doesn't even love himself. he will wake up everyday, look in the mirror and ask why he is still alive. i did everything as what i learned when dealing with a depressed partner. i tried to be understanding and patient as much as possible and he still ended the relationship.

You might have to move onto better things sometimes when bad things happen if opens the door to curiosity in future endeavours . I mean that bad things that happen in the present can refine us and make us more ready for success in our futures.
