My BV cure

After almost a year of having BV I found my cure. I tried everything nothing worked I went to the doctors multiple times. On october 12 I went to a new Gynecologist and I told her about my bv and she told me to use dove sensitive skin soap. She also told me when Im at home to wear no underwear so that my vagina can breathe. She prescribed me with metronidazole 500 mg for a week. While taking this I would drink the activia yogurts. Between wearing no underwear and the yogurt I'm not sure what helped but I'm free. I just got off my period and my vagina is normal. I'm so happy and I hope this works for everyone BV is the worst thing ever.
