My daughter is 2 years old and has chronic uticaria. They biopsied one of the hives and they came to the diagnosis of Sweet's SYndrome. I and the derm is not truely convienced that is all it is as the presentation is every week, every other day, every month and so on and so forth. She also has diarrhea associated with these and gets very crabby. Does anyone have any suggestions for tx? We were told to use pred but I would rather do holistic methods, like tx for the liver.

Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Jennifer,

I think that you should try eliminating the flavour enhancer 635 which is a combination of 627 and 631. I sound just like your little girl, however I am 26!! Look this enhancer up on the internet I really think that it will help your situation,

Best of Luck to you, it must be terrible and stressful having to deal with someone so young with these terrible symptoms. I suffered for four years and since elimatinating this nasty it has improved 10 fold.

Hey, I was just wondering if she'd been tested for celiac disease or other food allergies? The diarrhea made me think of celiac- or a wheat allergy... I have that- but no bowel problems, though that is a symptom sometimes.

I also have chronic autoimmune urticaria- which probably cannot be treated naturally, I was just diagnosed and have started treatment w/ prednisone and cyclosporine. My doc says that is 6 months I should be CURED!! How great would that be?! Especially after suffering for 22 years! (My entire life!!)

It's interesting to be reading about all this now after just supressing my hives all this time, now I actually know what is wrong with me! :ok:
