My doc wants me to go back on citalopram .What should I do?

Hey guys.I was on citalopram (30)mg for a year.Than cold turkey...by big mistake..Its been for a year now and still getting the withdrawal symptoms ..My condition is even worsened since I've stopped taking it...weakness,crying spells each day,shaky body ,most horrible anxiety,don't go out at all,I still can managae to work somehow,because basically my work place its only 1minutes from my flat...but I'm getting at.end of it...Soon l'll be not able to work..My gp wants me to reinstate the citalopram ..But after a year ? Does the reinstatement work again ?Thanks guys
