My ear concerns post stapedectomy, have I dislodged the prosthesis?

Hi there

I had a stapedectomy on my right ear 3 weeks ago and have started experience a loud crackling sound in my operated ear every time I swallow or yawn, similar to the sounds of a broken speaker. This came about as a result of me blowing my nose gently. I am now concerned I have dislodged the prothesis? My hearing is returning every day and I am not experience any dizziness, however is it possible that I have moved the prothesis and this is the sound I am hearing? I am not experiencing any pain though the loud crackling noise is very disconcerting.

    Hi dear anna

did you hear good before this loud crackling sound?

    how do you hear now?

maybe this sound is just drained blood in your ear.

I had my stapedectomy 14 days ago but I usually burp after eating 3 days ago after I burped suddenly I heard sounds very loud my ear wasn't block any more sounds are so loud especially when iam in street I was wonder if I dislodged prosthesis.

may I ask you has it ever happened that you burp after stapedectomy. especially in first week is it possible that burping or swallowing dislodge prosthesis.

    thahks
