My ears are bright red and feel very hot.

It started a few months ago.

Went to the doc recently and they gave me antibiotics thinking it was sinus infection.

When I went to the doc I didn't have any congestion other than ears popping and feeling full but never felt the need to blow my nose...etc.

I've just finished the antibiotic cycle and although my ears aren't getting bright red anymore they still feeling like they are on fire and the areas around my ears feel very warm. Nose is stuffy now that I've stopped the antibiotics, ears are popping still and feel full.

If I apply an ice pack to my ears, cheeks and back of my neck the heat goes away but will return shortly after I stop using the ice pack.

The above symptoms will go away randomly and I'll feel fine for 6-10 hours and then it all comes back. A slight headache / uncomfortableness in my forehead and top of my head on occasion.

Sometimes nausea but no vomiting. And on occasion dizzy spells.

When I blow my nose mucus is clear as day. Started using a humidifier which seemed to help a little but not much.

I've not had a temperature at all during any of these bouts and I don't feel fatigued or worn out.

It's seriously driving me crazy. Anyone help?!?!?

Have you had a full set of bloods done? It may be an immune system disorder. Have you tried antihistamine tablets?
