my experience!

for me having this disorder doesnt seem to affect my life much, infact i lead a completley normal life! ive never had regular periods but thats ok because you just prepare yourself more around the times you think it might happen. i get facial hair to but thats easily sorted, i have it waxed off every 2 weeks and i use bleach aswell so nobody really notices! im 18 so as far as acne goes, obviously i have some. but its not that awful, there are people who have it worse off. to be honest having this disorder doesnt really make any difference to me, i jusy have 2 be checked up now and then. :D :D

I am 27 and have known since i was 18 that i had pcos and i cried for days non stop as i was told i could not have kids. having this makes you less confident sad an makes u feel abnormal when all the people around u keep on asking u when you are going to have kids. i get really bad mood swings for no reasons watsoever and there are times i have my period only once or twice every 18months.

i am glad you are okay with it looby_, but be prepared for all the feelings that could over take u if you decide that u want a family of your own. :D :D :D

Am not being funny here, but thats the way u feel, yeah u may be able to lead a perfectly normal life, but theres some women out there who cant and have to live with the fact that they will never be able to have a child of their own, which beleive me is'nt nice, so i think u need to think about how ur version on pcos is differnt to other women suffering the condtion who are affected alot more. Your just lucky that your condition of pcos doesnt affect you like it affects some others. I hope it stays this way for you as i would hate to think of anybody having to go through the traumer me and my partner have had to, but just think how u are ur own indivdual and how differnt ur condition affects to how it affects other women smile
