My experience with Pityriasis Rosea

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my experience so far. In all my searching I never read about a case of this condition that spread to the same places as mine, and I think it would be reassuring for others if they ever have it similar to what I have.
My herald patch formed 9 weeks ago on the back of my neck, and after some google searches I was quite sure it was PR due to the sickness as well as the distinct shape/appearance. Fast forward a week or two and I suddenly have spots popping up on my chest and hips. Over the coming weeks it spread to my thighs, my groin, my legs, the top of my feet, all down my arms and on the back of my hands. I then noticed I have some red spots appearing on my face, and within two days my face was completely covered alongside my scalp. I know its said that this condition doesn't spread to these areas but doctors confirmed it was my PR. I'm at week 9 now and about half of the spots have almost disappeared and the rest are fading, and luckily my face is totally clear.
The products I used included head and shoulders shampoo on my whole body, pure aloe vera gel, cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser. The doctor also prescribed my prednisone to use on my face which seemed to clear it up within days but also left me with persistent facial blushing which has slowly improved since i stopped applying the steroid. I also tried using Prreze product but I found it made no difference to me (although I have heard so many positive stories from it that it's probably worth giving a go).
With the rash being so bad on my face I really struggled mentally with even being able to go to work or leave my house. For anyone going through a similar thing just know it gets better, and honestly I came out of it with a new sense of self confidence and I feel as if other peoples opinions of my appearance matter less to me.
Thanks for reading, hope this is helpful to anyone
