Hello Alex, I wouldn't worry too much yet. Try a warm/hot compress on it. A flannel in hot water then put over your eyes until the flannel cools. Try this morning and night for a few days and see how it is.

    Anything may have happened.

If it hasn't improved by Tuesday [assuming you are in the UK] go to your local Optometrist, like Specsavers etc and see their emergency Optometrist. They will be able to examine your eye and refer you on if necessary.

Ignore Google! Warm compresses are wonderful! Your eyes may be dry if you have been spending a long time in front of a screen because you can't go out.

    Good luck

Totally agree with Mrs Mop. It could also possibly be a bit of hay fever especially if you are in UK as the pollen levels are high at the moment.Try the compresses, cut down screen time . If you can buy some lubricating drops ,also called Hypromellose, from your pharmacy then use them several times a day and before sleep. that may be all that is needed.

If your sight is affected then you must contact the emergency optician for your area. If you are in UK try searching online for "emergency opticians near me".

May ask the name of the eye drops your doctor has given you?
