I’m 13 and when I have been lying / sitting down I’m fine but when I stand up my eyesight goes black and I can’t hear anything for a few seconds for a few minutes after that I am dizzy and I am hardly able to walk incase I fall . It’s really scary because I can’t hear or see and I want to get it sorted . It’s is usually on my left side because that’s the side I lye on but when I sit it’s both . Has anyone experienced this at all . Any info would be good

This sounds like something called orthostatic hypotension, which is basically a drop in your blood pressure when you first stand up. It can happen if you are a bit dehydrated or anemic, or if your electrolytes are off a bit. But many times, no obvious cause is found, but there are things that can help. You really need to see your Dr. The Dr can examine you and do some bloodwork to try determine if there is a cause. The Dr can also rule out more serious issues as well. And if nothing is found, Dr can give you tips on how to make it better. It's something that is not too uncommon in your age group, and can get worse around your period. But you need to get it checked out, ok?
