My eyes focus slowly (only when wearing glasses)

I just noticed this today. I was watching TV, while wearing glasses, then looked straight at my phone screen. It took longer than usual for my vision to focus on my phone screen.

When I take my glasses off (which is most of the time), there is no delay. So this is only an issue when wearing glasses.

I have an astigmatism in my left eye, which makes it short sighted, and I mostly wear glasses to cope with eye strain during high focus tasks (e.g. using a computer). My vision seems to be fine up close in both eyes.

What might be causing this? Could it be because I was drinking last night? Or do I need a new prescription?
