My father-in-law was prescribed Cardicor for an irregular heartbeat several months ago, and quickly noticed a shortness of breath and dry cough which worsened over the weeks.

Two weeks ago, he was rushed into hospital with massive pleural effusion (up to six litres was drained over the course of 2 days). Beta-blockers have been noted for causing pleural effusion, but has anyone else experienced this specific problem please?
