My Father is suffering from Advanced Prostate Cancer

Detected in September 2018 he underwent Surgery. TURP. His prostate chips were detected to be malignant. He was on Lupride 22,5mg injection once in 3 months. After three doses he was given Inj Degapride 240mg and followed up with 3 doses of 80mg in the next three months. He was initially prescribed Calutramide (oral)and After changeover to Degapride Given HONVON tablets.

On 16th October after having morning Coffee, He started bleeding through his anus. His food intake is very minimum only in the form of liquid for more than 20 days. His PSA level was tested to be 77.4 ng/ml

He had same type of bleeding the next day also. Admitted in Hospital. Since then he is on Saline only . He is conscious and talking but has no appetite. His Legs right from Waist has swollen very much. I wnat to know how long he will survive under this condition

    If it becomes terminal then its just a matter of time before he dies, but if not then its treatable. It usually requires moving something away from the body. There is radiation treatment. Bleeding in anus can happen from not eating enough foods.
