Hiya, sorry I can't really help but wanted to reply with what little I know. I do remember reading after I found out about recurring cysts that the pill can help to reduce them and keep them at bay. How true this is I don't know but I read it on a few different sites. My first big cyst was found even tho I'd been on the pill for around 5 yrs. But nothing to say the pill did or didn't help. I hope at least it helps with your symptoms and then they will discuss anything else after the 3 months. Do you have a consultant? If your symptoms persist while taking the pill after a few weeks then maybe call them directly if that's possible.

Hello darling, let me first say I'm sorry you're experiencing all this pain. I totally understand hun I've been dealing with pain and symptoms from hell for three years now. In the beginning doctors dismissed all my symptoms as plain old painful period, then my symptoms worsend so they suspected endmotriosis solely because of my symptoms as a laparoscopy was too invasive and a premature idea if you ask me since I've never been sexually active and I'm only 23 years old. I can for sure say that absaloutly NO contraceptive has worked for me or did me any good. I saw three different Gynecologists from hell and all put me on several different promising contraceptives and they all managed to worsen my symptoms symptoms. With each contraceptive my body seemed incredibly resistant to them and totally outraged and sure enough my symptoms just kept on getting worse until I'd end up in the ER every month and sometimes twice unfortunately. My first visit and my last stop was with an Endocrinologist, who says contraceptives are not going to help with PCOS and he is certain that's what I have again based on all my symptoms regardless of the fact that every bloody ultrasound showed NO cyst at all. Now I'm waiting for blood work lab results and see what treatment is in store for me. But I sure hope and pray that things work out for you with this new treatment. Stay strong, and remember you're not suffering alone you have a whole community of sisters here who are plagued by the same syndrome and who will always understand what you're going through.

Thank u hunni xx I have a 3cm cyst on my ovary and I d had swobs 4 times showing no Sti or infection of any kind so I don't know why yet again today they took 3 swobs again xx they've said my symptoms are too much for a small cyst and the cyst should disappear on its own. I'm only worried I'm gonna be like this another 3 months xx tbh there a waste of time and feel be trade by the nhs xxx

Ughhhh I just despise doctors who lack apathy I mean we go to hell and back a dozen times and they just stand there and coldly ask us if we'd just do it one more time it's absurd!!! I feel you I really do it's obviously not easy. What was the primary treatment they put you on because I know for PCOS there are several ways to tackle the problem. Did they look at your hormone levels and or your insulin?

      Xoxo

Hi long story but years I suffered pains ..being being fobbed off by gp ... went to try again December last year . Demanded scan ..Wich showed possible dermoid cyst .. saw specialist again Jan this year and was put on microgynon as he said possible endometriosis too .. had another scan February Wich showed cyst had grown ..microgynon did nothing but made me bleed non stop ... so I was booked to have cyst out ... This was done April 20th they removed the cyst and my left ovary and tube. . I went back in May 3rd with 2 severe infections .. and found out my results .... turns out it wasn't a dermoid I have been diagnosed with a rare ovarian small cell carcinoma ( pulmonary type ) ... If I hadn't of demanded my scan back in December I wouldn't have found out ... I'm on chemo just had 1st round .... Please please Don't be fobbed of push and demand scans ... Ct scan etc x
