My First MRI Experience

For the last 2 weeks I've had an issue with my left knee, Dr have told me it's either a torn ligament or sciatica or a combination of both. My chiropractor said he needs to see x-rays and I need to have an MRI done. We entered the facility and waited our turn. when it was time to enter the room where the MRI was located the attendant said I needed to wear ear plugs as the machine makes some loud noises. I laid down on the table as the lift pulled me through this large tube or cylinder. if you have claustrophobia, you wouldn't like it. Several beeps and clicks and the MRI revved up. Sure there was noise and I enjoyed it. took me back to the 80's and my heavy metals days as a roady for a couple of band around North Carolina. I damn near fell asleep. the total scan time was 45min. Doing my hip then doing my knee. So if you worried about having an MRI, don't it's a piece of cake as long as you like heavy metal music and you're not claustrophobic.
