My girlfriend gets hurt every time we have sex, any tips?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this website and I'm happy that I found it.

The problem I want to resolve is just as I've mentioned in the title.

We have tried lubricants (I'm gonna try grape seed oil next time since I've heard its quite good and safe), drinking water (hydration) during sex, more foreplay and giving gentle thrusts at first until she is fully wide enough for me.

She only gets this by having sex with me and its kind of frustrating since we have to stop in the middle of the sex ( sad ) and for the next few days... We think it might be because of the fact that she is a bit tighter and I'm a bit thicker than the average, but still it shouldn't stop us to have fun so I came here while searching, with hope of getting some useful tips pre- and during sex or medications you have used for a vaginal injury that you people had.

Hope to get answers soon,

tnx in forward!

What she is experiencing is Dyspareunia, basically painful intercourse. I would recommend using a vaginal moisturiser such as Replens which is to be inserted with a syringe. Most importantly I would recommend your partner to go and visit a GP or gynaecologist, there is a possibility it could be another condition called Vaginismus. It may be worth researching and seeing if symptoms match or if they are similar at all, a good guide is Vaginismus.com , I personally suffer from severe Vaginismus so I am aware of many different triggers/contributors to this. There could be hundreds of different reasons so it would be worth doing some research and trying to figure it out if possible. Sex shouldn’t hurt full stop. Good luck. X

Hi A, Yes its a problem as its seems she is not stretching out to your size, the only way would be dilators these come in a set going from small to big, but you need to find one that the thickest is as thick as you, and what she does is to use them daily till the last goes in and out very easy.

Your need to look round some sex toy sites to find them.

I had forgotten to mention this is an issue which could possibly be resolved with use of vaginal dilators, I recommend amielle or vaginismus.com ones, regular use as directed will help.

I also had girlfriends that were very tight and often in pain , beside lots of foreplay and starting slowly what helped a lot was applying Chapstick to me and her but it must be the 100% natural type like EOS , Burts bees , no chemicals.

    It really made a difference.
