My head feels like exploding!!

I'm really suffering today!

I've got terrible head pains, not headaches as such more like pressure pains all around my head to the point where it makes me feel dizzy and it's horrible.

Took my son to an indoor trampoline park today and really didn't feel great and the more I thought about it the worse I felt, which I know is normal.

I'm worried I have a brain tumour or something else brain related, my scalp hurts to touch and when I wash my hair it feels sore, is this anxiety or would a brain tumour cause my head to hurt in this way????

Please help!!!!

    Possible type of migraine.

Try not to worry. Others on here are more skilled and experienced with anxiety issues than myself. xx

Just wish I had answers, GP keeps saying it's sinus, anxiety and has no concerns its brain related!!

My scalp feels cold, not to touch but that's the kind of pain so it's not a headache as such just a cold sensation

Laura If you ask for a referral to a neurologist he will investigate this. It happened to me and there a few possile causes highlighted by the neurologist.

It turned out to be migraine due to pain killers.

Had to spend a solid week tortured and it did calm down i ised melatonin that week at night 3mg knocked me out cold. Makes me nervous tomuse pain killers now but sometimes they are needed for illness too.

Maybe ask If you tell the optician that you use computers he will test your middle distance vision as well. Also tinted glsses that go dark in the sunlight will help with glare which can trigger off a migraine.

See a neurologist you have developed bad migraines. It can be From your hormones levels being off as well. They do have migraine medicine to relieve this. Severe anxiety can trigger it. It sets the body off balance in many ways. It is fixable laura, or can be managed. Its hell while its occuring. The anxiety aspect is a seperate doctor. I hope you feel better, it is really awful.

I seem to suffer more when I'm on my period so it's possible it could be hormone related??

Yes I agree with Lisa. A neurologist is best to allay your anxieties however short term an optician may help.

Good idea to get your eyes checked every year or so

I have an appointment, Wednesday  to check if my Glasses need changing. I am finding my eyes seem to be getting worse on my laptop and I keep missing the correct key on keyboard

Sometimes a pair of glasses made for computer screen glare helps as well
