JAMES,
all of the above can be symptoms of ulcerative colitis. i suggest you request a colonoscopy to check and hopefully be put onto some meds that will help. ive been fighting all of this on and off for 7 years, a dreadful condition but you can get on top of it. Good luck !

HI JAMES!
Among others I have suffered from enlarged red blood cells, diarrhea, passing blood, lower back pain, left sided pain, restless legs, burning sensation in feet and lower legs, abdominal pain, tiredness, no energy, the list is endless. i have a medication review in February and Im seriously considering coming of prescribed drugs. at the moment I am trying cannabis oil and will see how that goes. UC is a terrible condition and surgery may be the only way out. I wish you well.

Im required to have monthly blood tests due to the meds i am prescribed. Often this shows a low blood count but the latest have shown enlarged red blood cells. Apparently that can be down to thyroid or liver problems or even a lack of vit B12. I have an appointment in February with a consultant to have everything checked. Other than extreme tiredness I have no other symptons relating to it, but the tiredness can simply be down to Uc. Who knows. I can only rely on those who are looking after my condition to help me stay on top of it.
