i have been using my friends air walker boot but the pumps on it dont work...it that a really bad problem for my ankle? i have surgery december 21. i have another appointment on febuary 9th so that in two weeks. im scared to see what they say about my ankle. should i go to the hospital and ask to get a cast????

Hi Laurin,
I never used the pump on my boot. It protected my ankle just fine. I hope your recovery goes well. How bad was your break? I broke the tibia, the fibula, and dislocated a third bone. Had surgery a week after I broke it. It's been 6 months. Just take it easy!

I don't understand. You had surgery on December 21, you don't see your doctor again until February 9th, and you aren't in a cast/don't even have your own boot? What happened?

No, I understood that you had surgery -- I repeated that in my post. What I don't understand is the rest of it. You're not in a cast or boot provided by your doctor and you don't see them again for over a week?
