I was with my daughter when they did an ultrasound. The blood clot was very clear to see and we had no doubt what we were looking at.  It was very big though.

I have heard that there is a blood test called a d dimer test which also is an indicator which you might be able to ask to have done.

Certainly if you have anxiety it might help to put your mind at rest.

    Hope you get it sorted.

Trust me you would know if you had a blood clot, the pain is horrendous, I developed one from knee to upper thigh and it felt like I was dragging a lead weight around, it was bright red, swollen and so painful to touch, I screamed when anyone came near me.  I have lots of similar feelings now and my legs are hot and heavy but I think it can just be down to varicose veins which I have and they can be painful, do you have prominent veins if so it may be what is causing the aching.

Yes I agree. The pain is un mistakable. I had bilatral DVT from the groin to my feet. Both legs affected meant I wasnt moving anywhere and had to drag myself along the floor crying in agony to the loo whenever I wanted to go. I too have similar milder pain and wonder if I could have vein problems, but a blood clot you would definately know about

They scanned my leg in the wrong place hun and missed mine which I was left untreated for 5 days with I went to 2 different hospital and my GPS all on the same day and still they claimed no blood clot I would go back and ask them to do it again.they scanned from my knee down but my clot was in my groin.

Do not panic, actually this type of swollen problems in legs are caused due to infection or vein problem in legs. As you said that this problem still arises after pregnancy therefore it is better that you should consult with some specialist for the better treatment of your legs. Take care.
