My life got ruined from Chronic Fissures any advice?

I had Chronic Fissures for almost 10 years. First went to an urgent care and got misdiagnosed with Hemorrhoids. A couple years into that I got a new job with Insurance. I finally got a correct diagnosis and started seeing a Proctologist. He recommended I drink lots of water and start taking Metamucil. I did that for a couple years with no improvement. My life was a living hell. I was bleeding all the time and I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. The Doctors couldn't have cared less. Finally I decided the only way this thing was healing is if I stopped eating. I fasted for 5 days and only drank water. That seemed to worked.

However, I still kept having bad pains and the anal area was very itchy. I used to scratch it so bad in my sleep it would bleed. My Proctologist kept insisting there was no more fissure. He gave me a diagnosis of Pruritis and gave me a steroid anti-fungal. I tried that and got some relief. I finally got recommended to a Dermatologist and a couple of Biopsies later I got the results. Inverse Psoriasis.

I was now 30 years old and had spent the last 7 years of my life in agonizing pain. I have now been battling with this Psoriasis for the last 3 years. My Doctor thinks that maybe I had Psoriasis the whole time and that is why I had Fissures to begin with. Has anybody else had this problem? I'm so depressed. I feel like my whole life has been ruined.

Maybe you can try to control your stress levels. That is what I am going to work on. I recently got Botox injection and I feel like it won't heal unless I deal with the root problem, which is my mismanagement of stress. I have a very tight pelvic floor and I know that this is probably why my body is having a hard time healing on it's own, so I will be working on this once my hemorrhoid goes away. My muscle spasms are very minimal at the moment because I have been water fasting for 2 days.

    Dear Jack

I feel so very sorry for the pain you have been experiencing and for the lack of support you have received. I am writing on behalf of my partner who has struggled also. I hope that by sharing our experience it might help you.

The only gel that finally gave him relief was Rectogesic 4mg/g. I gather it is a very strong treatment and can cause headaches but my partner tells me these are short-lived. We had to beg, plead and knock on many doors to get this, and to be honest my partner is livid he wasn't given it months ago when he was in agony. He is also taking a homeopathy remedy that I found online called Ratanhia 200c.

I would honestly seek advice from an homeopathic doctor as I have often found them to be able to get at the root of the problem, instead of just treating the symptoms.

Don't give up, there is a cure out there. You are so young and you deserve to have a better life.

    All the very best.

    Ursula
