This is a new symptom I ave been having. Recently, I went to hospital a and e as I had tremendous pain in my back. I was told I had spondylitis as well as my cs. I now cannot walk properly. I am in agony with all my bulging discs and now this.

Does anyone else have anything similar?

    Hi lesley1954

It has been a while since I saw your last post and I am sorry to hear you have spondylosis I to have it and it is not a nice thing to have, that is putting it mildly. I have just got over the pain i have had in hips neck and back,it is a very debilating thing to have I find. As you say you cant walk and the pain is unbearable and with other health issues it rearly knocks the stuffing out of you.I find the worst is the neck with the cs and the spondylosis your neck just continues to grate and be very painfull, but I do hope you get through this like you have with the cs as best you can. just dont forget not to do too much and be carefull when you do something dont go lifting things I know you cant with cs but I tend to do things when I have a good day but they tend to be few and far between!!! lol

so you take care hun and hope to hear from you soon

      Hi again Jeanette,

Yes its so not good at the moment. I am back to see joint consultants 2 weekks tomorrow. I am really struggling with all this pain, all down my left hand side. This has been ridiculous, the lenght of time I have been in pain for, its 15 months. Really getting so down, I am now taking 32 tablets a day.

I am also taking anti-depressents so I feel away with the fairies most of the time. Surgery cant be done, as it involves too many discs.

i sympathise with you as ive recently started getting pain in back and have started walking with a stick it is very painful, i find a warm bath can help if you can manage it, you are certainly not alone,  being on this site has helped me agreat deal,  do you get pain in neck as well, or is it just youre back, at the moment my hands back, legs and neck hurt, and like ive posted a tens machine helps with the neck pain a great deal, its worth getting one if you can, but do try a warm bath i found that helps a lot hope you feel better soon all the best love tracey x

Hi Tracey. I have it both in my neck and back. I am taking a lot of medication at the moment. I cannot have a bath as I live in a bungalow, I only have a walk in shower. I have tried a tens machine in the past, but didn't benefit from using one. I am also using a stick as I now have spondylitis as well. This is where the vertebrae fuse together. I am getting head pain, neck pain, back pain, arm pain and leg pain. My arm and leg pain are the worst at the moment. Not even the amount of tablets I am taking kills the pain. At the moment I am taking 32 tablets a day.

I have just spent my second day in hospital with new symptoms. Pain and numbness all down the left hand side of my face. With each new symptom now I have to go to A and E as my spine is in a mess.
