My Mom has hystoplasmosis of the eyes a disease caused from bird droppings. She also has cataracts.

Her original doctor feels that cataract surgery may interfere with the limited vision she already has or she may go blind. (which is almost the case now)

Her new doctor has scheduled cataract surgery, but says the results may not improve anything.

She is 85 years old and as her daughter, was concerned what to do??
