I am not qualified to give you any advice...just here to share some support & experience...

Your mom sounds like she has been dealing with at least two very serious illnesses between her cancer & heart. Unfortunately chemo & radiation can wreak havoc with our organs resulting in many of the symptoms your mom is experiencing.

Don't know from your post if she had heart failure or related problems before her cancer, but heart failure alone can cause shortness of breath which can significantly worsen on its own let alone with other health issues.

It appears she got into the hospital and things went downhill, but they are in process of stabilizing her. Considering her health issues this could take days or weeks. Her EF is pretty low so the symptoms she is experiencing seem to be more related to how hard her heart is having to work vs. too much medication.

    Prayers she recovers soon!
