Not every one with COPD has pulmonary fibrosis.  Perhaps you intended this post for another discussion group.

Both patient UK and the British Lung Foundation has information concerning Pulmonary Fibrosis, COPD or any other lung or cardiac issue, just put the information you are looking for into the search box on either site.

May have, symptom check, could be, all these words are guesses its a bit dodgy to guess at someones illness, her own doctors will be able to advise her diagnosis, perhaps be in attendance when your Mum sees the specialist, that way you can give support as well as get an accurate diagnosis from the results of her tests.

    Best wishes V

With the symptoms you describe it could be any number of lung conditions or just relating to an ongoing lung infection complications.

Its good your Mum is under the specialist who will be able to determine the problem and treat accordingly.

Keep everything crossed for the results.
