Get your gp to refer you to a proper spine specialist, there are a team of them at north tess hospital and at least one at sheffield. Dont be put take no for an answet as they are obliged to use countrywide nhs not just local. If there is one near you find his name and get it fixed

    Good luck

    Hi,

The intensity of c/s pain varies from nothing at all to absolute incredible agony.

I was climbing up the wall and could not sleep right for many months this is my pain control.

Amatryptaline, Gabapentin, Naproxen and morphine patch.

I did have a try with tramadol but it didn't do anything for pain relief.

    hello,

Ask about a steroid injection and look into medical cannabis and cannabis topical products if it's legal where you are.  It's legal here in California and is very effective for my pain from three bulging disks in my neck.  Good luck

I've had the same symptoms as you for nearly 10 years.  I have tried every painkiller combination there is, now I am on tramodol, durogesic patches, amytriptyline, paracetamol and ibuprofen.  Unfortunately none of this takes the pain away but I do find the morphine patch takes the edge off so I increase and decrease the dosage as required, Injections didn't help either.  I no longer go out much due to the pain, dizzy spells, tiredness achy limbs etc and have been told there is nothing they can do.  I also have a blog clotting condition so they won't operate, they say they could maybe cure the pain in my arms but not in my neck back and head which is where the pain is worse.  I really hope your MRI helps you get a diagnosis and that there is something that helps.
