My period pain is unstoppable :(

Hello
I'm 16 years old and I've been on the pill for approximately five months now. The reason why I decided to take the pill is because I had unbearable period symptoms. I had severe stomach pain (cramps) and also back and leg pain. I was throwing up and always feeling dizzy. There were moments when I would start to shake and my face would turn super pale, like I was going to faint. I described these period symptoms to my doctor and she said taking the pill would lower or stop them.
Luckily most of these symptoms have gone away with the pill (and I'm half they did) except the worst of them all: the cramping. Despite being of the pill I still get cramps and they are killing me. I really thought they were going to go away.
I really don't know what to do know. Should I try another brand? Should I wait and see if my body adjust?
I need help I have to cancel plans because I'm stuck in my bed curled up in a ball!!
Any recommendations? Thanks in advance

i feel you sooo much! im currently awaiting a laparoscopy as severe menstrual pain is one of my many symptoms. The best thing for me is nurofen express and a hot water bottle or bath. Also, when i was a little younger the dr's put me on something called mefenamic acid and honestly it was a GODSENT for me. im going to make an appointment to hopefully get put on them again. also, yoga has helped me in the past for period cramps and sometimes even saying 'mind over matter, its not so bad' out loud and taking a few deep breaths gives me mild relief, it sounds stupid, but it really does help me sometimes
hope you're feeling better soon! x
