mri showed torn peroneal tendon in my foot and 1-2 cm short from the bone it was connected. Should I have peroneal tendon surgery ?
the doctor said he will have to connect it to a different place, but he will know only after he goes in. any advice.

Its your call. I had a torn one too. And had it corrected and it still hurts . But everyone is different with pain and healing. Its a long recovery . The Only thing I can tell you is that the pain you are in now is going to be better if you do everything the doc says to do. You wil always have some pain, but not like you are experiencing now.
