my pigment is returning and im not sure why, maybe new meds im on

about six months ago I began taking gabapentin for nerve damage in my arms and legs, I was on a very low-dose at first but gradually over the last six months am on a extremely high dose now. my pigment began to return about 3 months ago and has really filled in over the last 3 months. mostly on my face at this point but my hands are also beginning to fill in a little.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this with new medicines they're taking, I have only come across one article that said something about an arthritis medicine was helping so I'm wondering if we're onto something here, or if its something else.

I lost all my pigment 3years ago back then my derm prescribed monobenzone now you can't get monobenzone due to people who just wanted to get a little lighter messing yo their skin this p*sses me off because now I'm patchy again and mono has been banned it was supposed to be for vitiligo patients not silly people who are unhappy being too dark I'm so depressed now that my face is back to being a blotchy mess
