My PVC story...hope this helps someone

Hello folks. I was a longtime PVC sufferer. If you are reading this, you probably are searching for answers. I spent hours, and days, even months searching for answers for my problems. My symptoms were this...Any form of prolonged physical activity, would cause my heart to flutter, skip, jump, pound. I was once a capable hard working man. These PVCS, were wrecking my life. I bought a Vers a 2, so I could read my pulse, I bought a Kardia Mobile, so I could read my heart patterns. My Versa 2 often showed my heart rate, to drop to 37bpm, then jump to 75, 85, then drop again. Terrible. What a lousy way to live.

I went to a heart doctor, of course, and my journey began. Heart Cath, Stress test, Nuclear Test...Ive done it all. More than once. Unfortunately, I had a heart doctor, who was a poor listener, and had me on meds, that werent right. I ended up bradycardic, to the point where I was hospitalized, for 4 days, to dry out from the incorrect meds. Yes, I had told the doctor I didnt feel right, but she didnt listen. I trusted, and she just kept me on my path. Not good. Ended up being more suffering for me. I got a new cardiologist, and he was much better. I then was sent to an Electrophysiologist. Diagnosis...PVCS, on upper and lower chambers. Geez. So, there I went for an ablation. Guess what?

He tried, but couldnt consistently locate my PVC areas. Swell. $45,000 dollars, and nothing fixed.

A week later, I went in for a heart Cath. This man found a blockage, and I got a stent. Quick process, and he went up through my wrist. Amazing. I breathed better. Felt better. 3 weeks later, the PVCS, began to torture me again.

Mow the grass, PVC attack. Stairs, the same thing. Even just sitting watching TV. Sometimes, even walking around at a store...PVC attack. Panic sets in, sweaty, dizzy, shaky, heart jumping...pulse crashing. Terrible quality of life. Afraid to do ANYTHING.

Well, heres the GOOD stuff. I suffered through this, and never gave up. These PVCS, took my freedom away. Took having a life. But, I have won.

I went to a University Heart Hospital. After wearing a Holter, for the umpteenth time. Guess what? The Doc there, looked me over. He said I have adrenaline activated PVCS, and he knows what to do. 4 hour surgery later. DONE!! Little or no PVCS, and I take Nadolol. Im alive and living life again. He was skilled enough, to ablate, a problem PVC area of my heart. No one else could. This man, knew exactly what to do. Like clockwork for him!

Folks. Dont give up. Live life again. Get a second opinion, a third. Whatever it takes. Find the help you need. I suffered through 6 years of meds, tests, empty promises. Then. I found the right Doctor. He saved, and gave my life back.

I hope my words help someone. Good luck. Dont give up.
