My reflux is probably going to kill me eventually...

I've been dealing with this for years now, tried every medication available, have had to be hospitalized in the past. I should probably mention I live in Japan. No problems speaking the language, but doctors here don't take me seriously, refuse my requests for surgery, and tell me I need to see a psychologist. I've heard that reflux will eventually develop into cancer if untreated for long enough. So, am I going to die? How long do I have?
