sounds like fluid building up in the ear. Hopefully, it's just going to go away. Had the same exact issue. My ENT put me on a diuretic. Not sure if it helped but it certainiy made me stay close to the urinal. I, too, have Barretts or GERD or reflux and I have never been told that they have any relation to each other. I'm assuming you don't have tinnitus, meieres, or hyperacusis? Eustachian Tube Dysfunction? Do you experience vertigo or dizziness? You don't say you've been seen by a specialist but I'm assuming you have been? Can I make a suggestion that might help you? Chew some gum. I know gum isn't the best thing for reflux but the constant chewing and swallowing could assist opening that blockage. Also when you sleep, sleep on the opposite side of the blockage. Try not to lay on the blocked ear. At least these things worked for me. You may have trapped fluid and 5 months seems like a long time to deal with that. I hope you feel better.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I will follow your advise.whats now your condition is it clear now?i strongly believe that it is because of acid reflux.but doctors say no relation to this. After eating I have post nasal drip and ear blockage.Excess of mucus production in my throat that is because of reflux, these excess mucus cause nasal drip and ear blockage. All my medical tests are negative.i am worried about this, feel sad. I will follow your advises thanks dear friend.

I went into ER and the PA (physicians assistant) told me i had acid reflux (similar symptoms as you) and the other doctor just happened to do a CT scan and I had mastoiditis. If you feel something is wrong keep going and finding the answer. I think they want to have a conclusion often times without thinking we are still suffering without the truth.
