My right eye is incredibly bothersome. Has anyone had surgery for mild astigmatism?

Has anyone had surgery on corrective laser treatment for mild astigmatism done? What was it like, how was the recovery and most importantly, did it work?

My vision isn’t impaired by any means, but the very fact that it’s my right eye is incredibly bothersome. Reading small print or similar in low light is increasingly difficult.

I don’t want to use the glasses anymore if laser treatment is effective.

Any experiences would be most welcome.
