My semen color is lightly yellow. Is it normal?

Posted , 6 users are following.

Every where i look, it says that it should be white or whitish grey. But my semen has always had a yellow tint to it, especially observable when it is on a white surface. I'll attach the colour of it and it would be great if i can learn if its normal or not. Because i am scared to go to the doctor because of how my family would perceive it and react. Thanks a lot.image

never, It just started changing to this color ever since I started to masturbate less over the past months. Maybe I need to keep masturbating daily to kind of make sure new semen is filtering in idk?

Okay so many things can impact on how your semen looks: from simple things like the regular diet you have, to general health conditions and sexual infections and diseases

You do not say whether you have been sexually active or not?

    What age are you?

I am 21 and I was sexually active since 19 but my semen color didn't change when after i got active. It was always like this. Regarding diet, I eat high in protein and use protein shakes because i regularly workout. Could that be the reason? or is it just genetics like i said it was always like this. A guy DM'd me claiming he was an urologist and said it's all normal %90 of his patients and even him had this color and if thats the case i think it is a normal cokor to have?

For the actual reason you would to confirm that with the Moderators of this site.

Usually the reasons are the person or responder is not who they claim to be, or lack credibility in some way, or the main reason they have been on here is to profit from it in some way - or put it another way, they have infringed the formal Terms and Conditions of the use of this website

So in simple terms it is either quite normal for most males, can be linked to regular diet or general health, however, it can also be caused by an STI.

If you need 100% confirmation of what is actually happening for you you would need to see a Urologist in person. If it is not an issue for you then why make it one?

In terms of others contacting you, I could claim to be Santa Claus - it does not necessarily mean that I am.

If someone is genuine why would they not have the courage of their convictions and the credibility to answer you in a Public Forum
