My skin gets hot and itchy whenever I get drunk

I've only gotten drunk twice and in both those times, in the next day, I don't have a headache or feel sleepy, instead my skin feels hot and itchy. I can still drink alcohol and not have this happen. It only really happens when I really get drunk. The reaction doesn't occur right away cuz in both cases, my skin got hot and itchy the nxt morning. I suspected that maybe it's an allergy so I looked it up but the info I got seems too extreme from what I experience. I'm just curious as to why this happens.
