My skin problem which lasts 8 years please help

Hello,

I really hope that I'll find some help here. I don't know what to do any more.

approx. 10 years ago I got some white stains on the right side of my scrotum (between leg and scrotum-balls). Not sure were they white or red at the first moment, can't remember.

The thing started to itch and it was getting worst and worst. When I was very itchy, the skin swelled up and some liquid started to flow from it.

The whole thing is very smelly and damp to the touch.

It itches so bad it's hard to describe. The more I scratch, the more it runs, the more it stinks. In the end, a red stain and slightly bloody irritated skin remain, which also burns in contact with water.

I should mention that the itching worsens when I drink alcohol or a day later. The same when I eat pizza (at least I think so). After a night of drinking, it itches abnormally badly the next day.

I went to a dermatologist years ago who prescribed me a corticosteroid cream (can't remember the name) and said it was rubbing the skin. Of course, the case didn't help soothe the current itch.

3 years ago, the issue also appeared on the other side.

sorry for the unpleasant pictures, but I need help. Thank you 100x if you solve or try to solve my problem.

I would suggest this is a fungal infection and very common. Its worth treating it as a fungal infection just to see if it improves. But two things: a dandruff shampoo containing selenium sulphide and wash the area well each day working the shampoo into all the cracks and crevices. Leave for 2 minutes, rinse very well. Dry thoroughly on a clean towel. Also look for a cream in the chemist/pharmacy that contains Clotrimazole. It may be described as a Jock Itch cream. After washing, work this cream well into all the creases of your skin that are affected.

If you can do this before bed every day for a week you should see some improvement. Then do it twice per week. Dont wear nylon or polyester pants or tight lycra.Try to only wear 100% cotton Dont wear pants in bed. Wash your pants in very hot water. 60 deg at least.

If none of this helps at all then try to see a different dermatologist .

I dont think alcohol or pizza has any real connection.
