My stomach feels like it's the size of a walnut? I get full really fast is this anxiety?

So I've been noticing that the past few days I've been feeling full after eating a normal meal, ( which was for 2 days) now today I woke up and drank only about 8oz of water and instantly felt full? After 2-3 hours I drunk 2-3oz of A fruit smoothie and I feel like my stomach is the size of a walnut. I do have anxiety I don't know if stress can cause this or if something is really wrong. Ineed answers.

Anxiety kills our appitite and can have strange effects on how our stomach feels, my anxiety sits in my stomach so can make you feel full, there's nothing wrong with your stomach it's just the anxiety, keep eating though especially the healthy stuff. Neil

But when I drink a cup of water not even that much it makes me full it's like only fluids make me feel fuller than if I were to eat is this werid or am I just over thinking? I wasn't depressed or really anxious I just couldn't really eat as much.

Hi, sounds like anxiety related. Keep drinking the smoothies and keep hydrated even small amounts often , my stomach gets really tight when anxious and I feel like I'm sometimes forcing myself toveat and my hubby comments my portions are tiny. Other times my appetites normal. Would discuss with gp if this goes on for long periods though,. Don't know if you're on any meds they can also make some people feel like this, ??

I'm 16 years old and I'm not on meds and if this is anxiety related how long can these symptoms last? I wasn't really anxious or depressed when this occurred so I'm kinda worried. Now I feel Poor appetite like I don't want to.eat certain things but I'm not anxious I just don't know what it is. I don't know if I should ignore it or do something I just don't know ....

It sounds very much like anxiety to me. Like Aspinan and Edwina said, anxiety kill your appetite. The stomach is the seat of our soul and when anxious our digestive gets upset. When I'm very anxious my stomach plays up, can't even taste my food, and just don't feel hungry, you get caught in the loop and then you start thinking there's something wrong with your stomach. Try and eat small meals and food you like. Smoothies are good too. Go and see your GP if it lasts more than a couple of weeks.

That was meant to say "our digestive system gets upset".
