My story.

Hi everyone I think everybody is probably familiar with my story , well I know some of you are . It's 2 years next month since I had the first of my surgeries the resection , and then I had an ileostomy bag for 3 months and then a reversal. I had bladder irritation after my surgeries and then I had an appendectomy due to adhesions that we're giving me much pain last November. I just thought that I would post to tell everyone that I am feeling so much better . There are so many negative stories and there's a lot of people that really would like to hear some good news about these surgeries. I have had a few setbacks and it's taken 2 years, , I think that's because I had the abscess for 5 months and my gastroenterologist just wasn't listening to me when I was telling him that I felt really unwell but I'm finally feeling really good and I just wanted to let everyone know , there so many negative things and I just think it's good to hear that we do get over these surgeries it has taken me a bit longer but I am 64 so there is light at the end of the tunnel. I was very fit at the beginning of all this and I think that did help. I've had to work out that I can't have too much fibre and I think we are all individual with that kind of thing. I do still have some back pain but I think that will just be with me now and I'll just have to manage it. So for all of you that have to go through this surgery .just be positive and you will get better eventually
