My surgery has been resheduled

Got a call from my surgeon's office late this afternoon advising that my surgery has been rescheduled from May 24th to May 29th.  5 days not to bad, but all the plans made have to be re-done.  Ugh! My surgeon has a staph infection in his hand.  The infection came from a piece of shell cutting his hand while eating crawfish.

All in all his surgery scheduler had to reschedule 13 patients

I feel for you... My sister was due to have her hip replaced this Friday, and now her op has been postponed for 3 weeks. It’s so difficult  when you have everything sorted out.

    Good luck next week.

I know it’s only 5 days but I would have felt just the same as you. I would have been really fed up if mine had been postponed. Good your surgeon is being so careful though.

      All the best, Judith

Thngs are kind of settled now, except the hospital called wanting me this morning to register.  I told her I did when I came in for pre-op testing. I am guessing it was because my surgery date changed and she did verify that the new date is shown.
