My symptoms...anyone else experience the same??

Posted , 5 users are following.

I've had GAD & health anxiety for around a year now...my symptoms are manageable some days & have me running to urgent care on others...never a nice in between ??

• Headaches - mainly across the front of my head - improves when I wear my glasses

• Pressure like feeling in forehead, nose & across my cheek bones - hurts when I wear my glasses or push on it

• hazy/weird feeling like I'm walking on a boat

• palpitations

• hot flushes

• tingly hands & feet

• dry mouth

• tired - feel like I could sleep for a week or hide under a blanket all day

• occasional nausea

• ringing ears

I don't get them all at the same time - just a cluster of different ones at random points...

Had neuro exams, eye test & other usual examinations. Completed a 10 week CBT therapy course which helped for a while & now I'm spiralling again...tried meds but they made me feel worse so not medicating at the moment...any herbal suggestions would be greatly recieved...

Thanks for reading

Hi there! I can see a very alarming reason you can't overcome your anxiety....it's denial. You're in that stage til now. I feel you my dear. It's really hard to connect all the pains and discomforts we feel to anxiety disorder. There's this lil voice inside us whispering, "what if it's not just anxiety???" "What if the Drs were wrong?" These questions and more, add up to our anxieties.

But dear believe me when i say, that once you accept it wholly, you'll be able to control your attacks rather than let it control you. Easier said than done? Nope! I was able to do it...you can do it too. And by the way, i am not in any medications...thanks to my Dr who limited my prescription to just 10pcs, and told me to use it for emergency only, and won't prescribe again for 3months. smile i could gladly say that i still had them, never been touched. Threw them last month.

Just please drink plenty of water, eat healthy food, drink tea especially ginger tea.

      Dear Liza,

It's just hard...when everything around you is sinister...all I hear is cancer, cancer,cancer...it's hard to believe that's not what's causing the symptoms I get...I don't google my symptoms as much anymore as that made me worse! But it's still difficult to get a handle on!!

I'm gonna try & get a Drs app & just go & talk it thru again...x
