My T Bili <5

Hi, my recent blood test showed T Bili <5 with * against it which means abnormal.  GP said it was nothing, but I want to know what it means as I have an element of fatty liver and wondered if it was connected.  Also my urine can be dark and then pale, I know everyone's can but I do drink a lot of water and it sometimes smells, which again GP not bothered abot.

      Hi, not really 1 glass of wine on a Friday, 1 on a Saturday, maybe more during Xmas or on a special occasions. I don't really like alcohol so I drink mainly water and a couple of cups of coffee per week.  I showed my urine to GP and he shrugged his shoulders, did a dip and said it showed nothing.  Maybe it is just tablets and supplements I take.

    I'm not really sure to be honest but with what you say about urine colour maybe kidney related or something as simple as a side effect of medication you take, you could also ask your G.P to refer you to a liver gastro specialist for a more in-depth explanation and tests if they feel you need anymore done, but one thing is for sure is if your worried don't let the G.P fob you off insist on a referral you don't want any problems to get worse good luch

      HI, I have an appointment next week so will ask then, it may have been down to dehydration as I had been in A&E for 9 hours only having 2 plastic cups of water during that time.  But will definitely find out. Take care

      Good luck at the hospital don't be afraid to ask any questions,and your G.P shrugging his shoulders is not acceptable I would think about changing if I was you as I say good luck
