My take on why some women suffer and some dont

i personally think its because alot of womens hormones drop nice and neatly and dont fluctuate wildy, i mean my mum had no symptoms and was done at a young age. even on here there are some that suffer and some that can hardly function to work etc, this sucks!!! xx

I agree. It was the same with my mom. She had none of these symptoms. Just hot flashes and night sweats. To be honest, I had no idea that hormones could wreak such havoc on our bodies. It's the worst!!

A dr told me that women who experienced a tramatic past or very stressful one , suffers badly during this time. I looked at my own life and compared it to my 3 sisters and see some truth to that because i endured hell compared to them. I get so angry at times and ask the question why me because it's just not fare.

Very profound indeed. Its crazy how some women suffer more than others. None of my sister's including my mom went through such hell. I am currently fighting sinus and migraine head aches. Just hate all of this. Wishing all the women well on this forum.

I truly believe that stress or past trauma has something to do with the difficulties we are all facing without any explanation from drs or any health professional. When i am not that stressed, i find that my symptoms have subsided tromendesly , but when all hell is breaking loose in my life my symptoms are worse. I believe there are so many contributing factors as to why we are all suffering but not one grounded solution to help us out of the suffering. God help us all get through. Much love everyone.

Hello HF..
I am convinced, sinus problems are DEFINITELY menopausal-related. I know for a fact, migraines are. That said, I have NEVAA had allergies, yet when I began my peri-menopausal journey, my doctor told me I have allergies! Shut the front door and call me Mary! There are soooo... MANY undocumented menopausal symptoms, some I think women are afraid to utter.

Hello Seetus1265. Thank God that period is over. I have no more migraines and sinus problems. This roller coaster of symptoms will test you on every level. Some stay longer than others but what we must understand is that they come and go. Some stay longer than other and some completely disappear and never return. But one thing for sure I am grateful for is this forum of wonderful ladies supporting each other. It has been my lifesaver.Take care and God bless
