My throat hurts so bad

Its been hurting for about a week, I saw doctor and he prescribed amoxicillin. It doesn't seem to be helping as my throat honestly still hurts the same amount after a few days of use. Along with my throat pain, I suffer from nausea, dizziness, headaches, loss of appetite, vomiting, and in most positions it's very difficult to breath. I don't really know what's wrong with me at this point, but the test for strep came up negative.
