sorry to hear of your tooth pain, my advice is to go back to the dentist as it sems that you may have an infection in the tooth and that has to be dealt with first before the dentist can touch that tooth you have enough time to start your treatment, if any is needed was an xray done? the chances are if you dont get some treatment you may find it difficult to concentrate on your exams so make another appointment asap with your dentist do not put it off you may be sorry.
good luck

I did go to dentist today. She said it's acute root canal. However she cleaned the infection to nearly 50% and she said we can do it after exams. The pain has reduced but somehow there is done tingling feeling or since sort of pain. Any suggestions to ease it?

so pleased you went back to the dentist and that the pain has reduced, and you will be able to do your exams and have dental treatment after.
When I had tooth ach I found warm salt water mouth rinses at least 4 times a day helped and also glove oil, antibiotics really helped as well and pain killer , I was prescribed co dydramol tablets for pain and with that combination I was fine untill I had root canal treatment.
good luck with your future dental treatment and your exams

there is no set amount of salt but i usually put 2/3 large tablespoons of salt to a glass of warm water. Hope it will help relieve the pain if not seek your dentist dont wait if it gets worst. Good Luck

Iam so pleased I could be of some help, you will feel a alot better once the antibiotics kicks in, then you will be ready for your treatment.
Iam not on facebook but Iam happy to communicate with you by email, when you have toothach it is not easy, when someone can advice on something to help, it makes a lot of difference. You will be fine the pain will get better whilst you are taking your antibiotics and pain killers, and when you have your root canal treatment you will be fine once that has been completed.
Good luck and take care, fingers crossed for good results in your exams.
